Many netizens raised the issue that plenty of kasambahays or housekeepers are being treated badly by their employers. From the photo, it seemed like the housekeeper’s employer was a Filipino. That fact only made the netizens more furious. Many stated how helpers who work for families abroad are already being mistreated, but it’s even worse to know that our own kind does too.

Cey and the rest of the netizens who reacted to her post believe that everyone, including housekeepers, should be treated with respect. Unfortunately, this kind of treatment is common in their line of work. Many employers take the people who work to keep their houses clean for granted.

Furthermore, on the caption of the post, Cey wrote that if they would only treat them badly, they should not hire one in the first place. Scrolling through the comments you won’t see anyone disagreeing on what the message of the post.
